Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Eng. Stefan Talu
Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Eng. Stefan Talu is a highly accomplished and internationally recognized researcher whose scientific profile strongly supports his role as Editor-in-Chief of ABAH Bioflux. Affiliated with the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, within the Directorate of Research, Development and Innovation Management, he has built a distinguished academic career at the intersection of engineering, surface science, and advanced mathematical modeling. His expertise extends to fractal and multifractal geometry with applications in biological and medical sciences, as well as to optimization methods, algorithms, and nanotechnology—fields that require both deep theoretical understanding and interdisciplinary integration, which are essential qualities for leading a scientific journal.
His research productivity is exceptional, comprising 22 authored books and 426 publications indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection, reflecting both breadth and sustained impact. His scientific influence is further demonstrated by his inclusion in the global Top 2% most-cited scientists ranking for multiple consecutive years (2021–2025), both in terms of career-long impact and annual research performance. Tudor-Andrei Papuc
Tudor-Andrei Papuc represents a dynamic and multidisciplinary academic profile that supports his role as Editor-in-Chief through a combination of domain-specific expertise, editorial experience, and strong academic training in animal sciences and related fields. His academic background is anchored in animal husbandry and aquaculture, complemented by additional studies in economics and marketing, which provide him with a broader understanding of research dissemination, scientific communication, and organizational management within the academic publishing ecosystem.
He is currently affiliated with the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca, where he is engaged in both research and laboratory activities within the Faculty of Animal Science and Biotechnologies. His doctoral studies in animal science further consolidate his specialization, while his earlier degrees in aquaculture engineering and animal production management provide a solid technical foundation. This combination of practical, experimental, and theoretical training is directly relevant to the thematic scope of ABAH Bioflux.
Professionally, his experience includes research activity within Bioflux SRL, where he has contributed to scientific work in the field, as well as earlier roles that reflect applied expertise in aquaculture and analytical work. His competencies include data analysis, synthesis, and interpretation, alongside organizational and leadership skills, all of which are essential in coordinating editorial workflows and maintaining academic standards.
Most notably, Tudor-Andrei Papuc has extensive editorial involvement within the Bioflux publishing framework. In addition to his role as Editor-in-Chief of ABAH Bioflux, he serves as scientific editor for multiple peer-reviewed journals covering diverse but related domains, including aquaculture, environmental sciences, agriculture, and specialized biological research areas.
